PRINCE REVIEW

Sivakarthikeyan has grown into an extensive star in Tamil cinema and his success is undeniable. He is widely known via fanatics and family audiences because the 'Prince' of Kollywood. Now, the big name actor has provided 'Prince' as his first-ever Diwali release to the target audience. Notably, this bilingual film additionally marks SK's Telugu debut. Anudeep KV (who received reputation with Jathi Ratnalu) has directed Prince, produced by using Shanthi Talkies, Suresh Productions and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas. Let's see if the film is a worthy Diwali treat to the enthusiasts. The story of 'Prince' is very simple and has already been stated by using the movie crew several instances. Anbu (Sivakarthikeyan) is a carefree, cool-headed social technology trainer in a small town near the Cuddalore-Pondicherry border. Anbu's father Ulaganathan (Sathyaraj) is the grandson of a freedom fighter and a patriotic, progressive and revolutionary man who needs his son to have an inter caste or inter-faith marriage. Anbu falls in love with his new colleague Jessica (Maria), an English teacher and a British lady. While  Anbu faces a problem while he finds out Maria's father does not like Indian humans, he also faces opposition from his townspeople as they don't approve of an Indian marrying a British due to their patriotism. Did Anbu and Maria succeed in their love surpassing a majority of these hurdles is what Prince is all approximately.

What works exceptional in Prince is the adorable and clean little moments all over the film. The humour in the movie is so mild-hearted and not exaggerated. SK's trademark one-liners are a deal with to watch and the actor slays along with his dance steps as well. The comic chemistry between Sivakarthikeyan and Sathyaraj was a deal with. The spoof scenes and climax sequence labored nicely within the complete film.Sivakarthikeyan fits properly with the Anbu character along with his allure and air of secrecy. One can very well say that he's one of the quality dancers in Kollywood now.

Sathyaraj scores along with his humour big time while Premgi Amaren brought a neat performance. Ukrainian actress Maria as Jessica is cute but she got no big component in appearing in this script. Prankster Rahul, Finally Bharath and the opposite secondary characters didn't make an impact. On the drawback, it felt like Prince didn't have the vital elements for a comedy film to work properly. Amid the simple story and execution, the various scenes felt uninteresting at the same time as the components that worked saved the movie. The main situation is that the characters have been penned poorly. If the movie had better character writing and if the target audience could have been in a position to hook up with the craziness of the characters, then Prince could had been a memorable comedy film.
